About the LCO

For nearly three decades, the London Community Orchestra has delighted audiences with a diverse repertoire that includes classical masterpieces, contemporary hits, and festive holiday tunes. We proudly present an average of four concerts each year, each performance a unique celebration of musical excellence. In addition to our regular season, we host a special Patriotic Band Concert each year the Saturday before 4th of July to honor Independence Day, featuring stirring renditions of patriotic favorites.

Our orchestra is a vibrant tapestry of musicians from communities throughout Kentucky. Our members range from enthusiastic youth to seasoned retirees and include amateurs, students, and professionals. This diversity enriches our performances and fosters a welcoming environment where everyone can thrive.

The London Community Orchestra thrives on the generous support of our community. Season ticket sales, contributions, and volunteer efforts are the lifeblood of our organization, enabling us to continue our mission of bringing high-quality musical performances to our region. By purchasing season tickets, our patrons provide crucial initial funding for our annual budget. Our dedicated Board of Directors is deeply involved in concert events and continuously seeks additional funding opportunities to support our educational and performance initiatives.
